A screening of "Happiness" settles into The Beverly Theater's cozy 150-seat space, where the intimate setting and sharp acoustics make for a close, immersive way to experience a film. The theater's blend of modern touches and classic cinema house charm gives the evening a certain hushed anticipation, the kind you get right before the lights dim and the screen flickers to life.

Given the venue's reputation for thoughtful programming, this screening likely draws cinephiles and casual moviegoers alike, people drawn not just to the film itself but to the chance to see it in a space built for real attention, free from the distractions of a sprawling multiplex. Afterward, the adjoining terrace and cocktail lounge offer a natural spot to linger, order a drink, and talk through what you just watched with whoever you came with.
