In August, the legendary Morrissey takes the stage at the intimate Encore Theater for a special four-night engagement, bringing his poetic lyrics and provocative presence to an unusually close setting. The former Smiths frontman remains one of alternative rock's most compelling figures, and fans can expect selections spanning his decades-long career along with his signature candid commentary. Earlier in the season, Mac DeMarco transforms Area 15 into a laid-back indie haven this May. The Canadian singer-songwriter's jangly guitar work and mellow crooning style create an atmosphere that feels more like hanging out with an old friend than attending a traditional concert, made all the more unique against Area 15's futuristic and immersive backdrop.
