The PRINCE Controversy
Alexis Park

Prince's catalog gets peeled back, turned up, and handed over to a cast of burlesque performers and aerialists at Alexis Park, just off the Strip. This isn't a cover band doing a respectful run-through of the hits — "Purple Rain," "Kiss," "Little Red Corvette," "When Doves Cry," "1999" and "Let's Go Crazy" all show up reworked into something slower, sweatier, and a lot more hands-on-skin than you'd expect. Think silk, leather, aerial silks twisting overhead, and choreography built around the swagger and sex appeal that made Prince impossible to ignore in the first place.

The dress code is part of the fun here — purple, lace, velvet, ruffles, anything with a little danger in it — and there's a costume contest for anyone who wants to throw down for best look in the room. Come dressed like you mean it, because the crowd is going to be doing the same. VIP seating puts you closer to the stage with a small Prince-themed keepsake tossed in, but even general admission gets you a close, intimate room to watch the whole thing unfold.
