The students of Musicology Academy bring their talents to the Showlounge Stage for an evening centered around iconic theme songs and memorable music from screen and stage. Under the direction of Jannette—a Los Angeles-born performer who's worked across television, film, and Las Vegas stages from MGM Grand to Caesars Palace—these young musicians and performers showcase what they've been working on. The academy itself was recently recognized as Best Music Studio in Henderson, and Jannette brings decades of experience as a voice and piano instructor to her teaching.
This third installment in the academy's showcase series features students performing a mix of music that spans different cultures and genres, all tied together by the theme of lights, camera, and music. It's essentially a recital with a twist—the focus on theme songs and screen-related music gives the performances a cohesive thread while letting each student shine in their own way. The intimate setting of the Showlounge Stage makes it feel more personal than a large auditorium, giving you a chance to see these developing artists up close as they work through pieces that blend music, dance, and theatrical performance.
