Gully Boys
Grey Witch

Gully Boys bring their scrappy, hook-heavy punk-rock energy to Grey Witch's 400-capacity room, with Pollyanna opening the night. The Minneapolis trio built their sound the old-fashioned way—two years of relentless gigging that earned them Best New Band honors from their hometown press before they'd even released a full-length record. Since then, they've sharpened their attack with releases like Favorite Son and singles "See You See" and "Optimist," all while sharing stages with Nova Twins, Motion City Soundtrack, Destroy Boys, and Bad Bad Hats.

Expect the kind of loud, physical performance that comes from a band who cut their teeth in DIY basements and dive bars before graduating to SXSW stages and Audiotree sessions. Vocalist/guitarist Kathy Callahan, drummer Nadirah McGill, bassist Natalie Klemond, and lead guitarist Mariah Mercedes trade in a raw, unpolished energy that rewards a room full of people ready to move. This one's all ages, so bring the whole crew, and grab a Detroit-style slice from the venue's pizzeria before the doors open.
