Neighborhood Bar & Gaming turns into a double-shot of '90s rock nostalgia with ALIVE, a tribute act channeling Pearl Jam's raw, grunge-soaked sound, sharing the stage with BAD HABIT, paying homage to The Offspring's punk-rock snarl. It's a mash-up of two very different flavors of that decade's rock, from Eddie Vedder-style wailing to the fast, snotty energy of SoCal punk, all crammed into one bar room on the west side of town.
Expect a packed house of flannel-and-band-tee types who grew up on these bands, singing along to the hits while the house kitchen keeps the food coming and the slots and video poker machines hum in the background. The bar's low-key, neighborhood vibe makes it feel less like a concert and more like a backyard party with really good bands — loud, loose, and free to get into.
