Tales of the Sun and Moon gathers a cast of Story Keepers to spin celestial myths from across cultures—China, Korea, Hawai‘i, and beyond—into a single woven narrative. Through spoken word, movement and live music, the piece looks at how humanity has always turned to the sky for meaning, and how different peoples have told strikingly different stories about the same sun and moon. It's a quiet reminder that distance and difference still leave room for shared wonder.

This particular staging, held in the intimate Troesh Studio Theater with its tall windows and open floor, is adapted as a Sensory Inclusive performance. Lighting, sound and pacing are adjusted with care so that individuals with sensory sensitivities or disabilities can take in the show comfortably—dimmed transitions, reduced volume peaks, and a more relaxed house atmosphere are typical of these adaptations. It's a chance for families and audience members who might find a traditional theater setting overwhelming to experience the same storytelling, music and movement in a space built to meet them where they are.
