Peter Boyle

Peter Boyle (1935–2006) was an American actor whose career spanned television, film, and stage over four decades. He first drew widespread attention for his provocative lead role in the 1970 film "Joe," and went on to deliver one of his most beloved performances as the Monster in Mel Brooks' comedy classic "Young Frankenstein." His versatility allowed him to move fluidly between drama, horror, and comedy, and he later became a household name to television audiences as the gruff but lovable Frank Barone on "Everybody Loves Raymond," a role that earned him widespread acclaim and multiple award nominations.
