Spin Doctors

Spin Doctors are an American rock band that emerged from the New York City music scene, forming in 1988 and officially launching in 1990. Known for their jam-band-influenced alternative rock sound, the group blends bluesy guitar work, funky grooves, and catchy pop sensibilities into a style that became emblematic of early-90s rock radio.

The band rose to mainstream prominence with their breakthrough album "Pocket Full of Kryptonite," which spawned hit singles that became staples of the era's alternative and classic rock stations. Their energetic live shows, built on extended improvisational jams and tight musicianship, helped them build a devoted fanbase that persists among longtime rock enthusiasts.

Decades after their initial rise, Spin Doctors continue to tour and perform, offering audiences a nostalgic yet vibrant throwback to the alternative rock sound of the early 1990s while showcasing the musicianship that first brought them acclaim.
