Omega Mart is Meow Wolf's Las Vegas installation, and it opens as a supermarket. Fully stocked shelves, fluorescent lighting, products like Nut Free Nuts and Bone-Sucking Fried Chicken Marinade that you can actually buy. Then you find the doors hidden behind the freezer cases, and the store gives way to roughly 52,000 square feet of surreal environments built by more than 300 artists.
There is a story running underneath it about a family, a corporation, and what the corporation is really selling, told through employee records, voicemails and terminals you can log into. You can chase it or ignore it completely; plenty of visitors just wander. Either way most people spend two to three hours inside and still miss rooms.
It sits inside AREA15, the immersive entertainment complex just west of the Strip, so there are bars, other attractions and food within a few steps of the exit.
