The STRAT Tower is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States at 1,149 feet, and it stands at the north end of the Strip. That position is what makes the view: you look straight down the length of the boulevard rather than across at your neighbours.
The Tower Experience covers the indoor and outdoor observation decks on levels 108 and 109, plus the bars and counter-service food up there. The thrill rides are an add-on and keep their own shorter schedule. Big Shot fires you 160 feet further up the mast at 45 mph, X-Scream tips you over the edge from 866 feet, and Insanity dangles you off the side and spins. SkyJump, the controlled descent down the outside of the tower, is booked separately.
The deck opens at 10:00 AM Thursday through Monday, 4:00 PM Tuesday and Wednesday, and stays open to 1:00 AM every night, making it one of very few Strip attractions where you can actually see the city late.
