N. KLAUS tucks you into a solitary hunter's lodge somewhere in that strange, quiet stretch of calendar between Christmas and New Year's — the days when the lights come down and something colder settles in. You and a small group of fellow "adventurers" are there as recruits for a midwinter hunt, led by a man named Nick Klaus who's lost something he can't get back. As he tells his story, he pulls you into a ritual whose outcome isn't clear until it's over — tame the creature responsible for his grief, or let it loose.
This is immersive theater built for a tight, intimate audience, heavy on atmosphere: haze curling through lantern light, moments where the room goes dark, a story that sits somewhere between folklore and confession. It's less a holiday tale than an unraveling of one — a look at grief, guilt, and the shapes we let them take. Dress comfortably, expect some light interaction, and know that the lodge isn't wheelchair accessible.
