Bonkerz Comedy brings three distinct comedic voices to Chrome Showroom for a night of stand-up that spans different styles and perspectives. Andrea Abbate headlines with her dark humor—the LA Times once called her "sweet as a perfumed eviction notice" with "sugar coated bullets" for jokes. She's a regular on Earthquake's SiriusXM show, has opened for Bill Maher and Adam Carolla, and written for NBC, CBS, and HBO. Her material plays with the irony of being happily married, college educated, and scandal-free while somehow remaining her family's black sheep.
Dean Gonzalez takes the special guest spot with what fans describe as a "Latino Tarantino" approach—sharp storytelling woven with physicality and cultural observations. He's known for his Mad at the World podcast and Hulu appearances, mixing personal history with street-smart delivery. MC Warren Durso rounds out the lineup as a veteran who got his start in the early 90s with Ron Bennington's Comedy Scene and toured with Sam Kinison's "Outlaws of Comedy." He's shared stages with everyone from Jeff Dunham to Jamie Foxx and performed on USO tours overseas.
The show is free with no cover charge, though you'll need to be 21 or older to get in. Doors open an hour before showtime at Chrome Showroom.
