The Stagecoach Honky Tonk Dance Team Competition brings the vibrant energy of country dancing to Gilley's Saloon at Treasure Island. Dancers compete in six different styles - three line dances (Sugar Honey I.T., 6s to 9s, and Freaky Skills) and three partner dances (Country Swing, Cowboy Cha Cha, and Texas Time). The competition offers contestants the chance to earn a coveted spot on the Stagecoach Honky Tonk Dance Team and win a 3-day pass to the famous Stagecoach Festival.

Hosted by Word in Motion, this competition showcases individual talent even during partner dances, as contestants are judged on their personal performance. The leather saddle seats and western atmosphere of Gilley's provide the perfect backdrop for this boot-stomping competition. Contestants must be 21 or older to participate, and while competitors need to perform in all six dance categories, they can bring a non-competing partner for the paired dances if desired.
