Dominic Glover throws open the doors at Gold Spike for the official launch of Monkey With a Katana, his new comic book that he both wrote and illustrated. This is the first chance to see the work out in the wild, flip through pages before anyone else does, and meet the artist behind it face to face. Expect original artwork on display, free food and drinks flowing, and a crowd of comic fans ready to geek out over the debut.

It's a low-key, celebratory kind of night — more about hanging out and talking shop with the creator than any big production. RSVP is free, so it's an easy way to spend an evening downtown supporting a local artist's new release while soaking in Gold Spike's laid-back, social energy.
