John Lloyd Young: Jukebox Hero
The Space

John Lloyd Young brings his powerhouse vocals back to The Space for an evening dedicated to the golden era of rock and pop. The Tony and Grammy winner, best known as the original Frankie Valli in Broadway's Jersey Boys and its film adaptation, delivers the hits of the 50s, 60s, and 70s with the same four-octave range and falsetto that made him a Broadway sensation. His voice has that rare quality of sounding both technically pristine and genuinely soulful, particularly when he hits those soaring high notes that defined the era.

Backed by his Vegas band, Young runs through a jukebox of classics from the decades that shaped American popular music. The Space's intimate 3000 square foot venue puts audiences close to the action, where you can really appreciate the vocal control it takes to nail these songs live without any backing tracks or vocal enhancements. The setlist pulls from the rockier side of the era alongside the doo-wop and pop standards Young has become known for, making for an evening that moves through different musical textures while showcasing what his voice can do.
