The Book of Mormon brings its Tony Award-winning blend of sharp wit and surprisingly heartfelt storytelling to The Venetian Theater. Created by South Park's Trey Parker and Matt Stone along with Avenue Q composer Robert Lopez, this musical comedy follows two young Mormon missionaries sent to a remote Ugandan village. What unfolds is an irreverent yet oddly affectionate look at faith, friendship, and cultural collision, delivered through incredibly catchy songs and Parker and Stone's signature boundary-pushing humor.

The show manages to be both outrageously funny and genuinely touching, skewering religious zealotry while celebrating the human need for community and purpose. The music ranges from traditional Broadway-style numbers to clever parodies, all performed with the polish and energy of a major touring production. The Venetian Theater's intimate setup means you'll catch every perfectly timed joke and facial expression from this talented cast.

Fair warning: this isn't your typical Broadway fare. The humor is bold, the language is colorful, and the subject matter pushes plenty of buttons. But beneath all the shock value lies a surprisingly smart commentary on belief systems and do-gooder idealism that's made it one of the most celebrated musicals of the past two decades.
