Dino's has been running karaoke for more than 25 years, and the Thursday, Friday and Saturday sessions at 10pm are why a 1962 dive bar just off the north end of the Strip draws a line of singers waiting on the mic.

Longtime host Danny G runs the book, and the room is the point: ceiling tiles painted by regulars, video poker sunk into the bar, cheap drinks, and a crowd that cheers for everybody — the nervous first-timer and the tourist who came in specifically to sing. Miss the high note and you'll still get applause.

There's no cover. Come early if you want more than one turn; the list fills once the weekend crowd lands. Pool tables are 50 cents a game while you wait, and the graveyard specials — Sunday through Wednesday, midnight to 8am, $7 PBR pitchers and $4 Jameson shots — are there for anyone who stays past the last song.
