Brent Muscat

Brent Muscat is an American guitarist whose searing riffs helped define the sound of the Sunset Strip hard rock scene that erupted in the mid-1980s. Active since 1985, he first made his mark as a founding guitarist of Faster Pussycat, one of the era's most recognizable glam-tinged hard rock acts, contributing to the band's raw, swaggering sound and image during its rise on the LA club circuit.

Over the course of his career, Muscat has remained a dedicated ambassador of classic hard rock guitar work, known for his energetic stage presence and gritty, blues-infused playing style. His music captures the spirit of an era when big hair, loud guitars, and unapologetic rock and roll attitude ruled the Strip, and he continues to be associated with that golden age of American hard rock.
