Jimmy Carr

Jimmy Carr is a British stand-up comedian, writer, and television presenter celebrated for his razor-sharp one-liners and deadpan delivery. Active since 2000, he has built a reputation as one of the UK's most prolific and provocative joke-writers, known for tackling dark, taboo, and controversial subject matter with a rapid-fire, minimalist style that leaves little room for filler.

Beyond the stand-up stage, Carr is a familiar face on British television, having hosted and appeared on numerous panel shows and comedy programs, as well as working as a radio personality and occasional film actor. His distinctive laugh and unapologetic approach to humor have made him a polarizing yet widely popular figure in the comedy world, with long-running tours that showcase his meticulously crafted material.

As a humorist and screenwriter in addition to his performing work, Carr has carved out a unique space in British comedy by combining old-school joke craftsmanship with a willingness to push boundaries most comedians avoid.
