The Beverly Theater brings Michelangelo Antonioni's 1966 masterpiece "Blow-Up" to its intimate downtown screening room. This enigmatic thriller follows a London fashion photographer who believes he's accidentally captured evidence of a murder in the background of his park photographs. As he enlarges the images obsessively, the line between reality and perception begins to blur in ways that defined the psychedelic unease of the 1960s.

Shot in vibrant Technicolor that captures Swinging London at its peak, the film remains a mesmerizing meditation on truth, art, and the limitations of what we can actually see and know. Antonioni fills the frame with mod fashion, abstract photography, and a soundtrack that includes a memorable appearance by The Yardbirds. The Beverly's excellent acoustics and projection quality make it an ideal setting to experience this influential piece of cinema that influenced everyone from Francis Ford Coppola to Brian De Palma.
