Fifty-five stories up, with the entire Las Vegas Strip spread out below like a circuit board of light, Ghostbar keeps its Saturday night tradition going with another round of Skyline Saturdays. This one brings national recording artist Frankie J to the stage for a live performance, backed by DJ Jbray holding down the booth from 10pm until close. Doors swing open at 9pm, giving you a couple hours to settle onto the outdoor patio with a Ketel One cocktail in hand before the music kicks into gear.
The appeal here is as much about the setting as the sound — that wraparound view of the city from the Palms' outdoor deck, the desert air at that height, the skyline doing most of the talking while Frankie J handles the rest. It's a lounge built for people who want their nightlife with a little elevation, literally. Expect a mixed crowd of locals and visitors drawn in by the combination of live R&B vocals and DJ sets, all wrapped into one of the more scenic perches in the city. You'll need to be 21 to get past the door, and as always with live entertainment, acts and lineups can shift without notice.
